I love Maple as the living areas are massive. You go through hardships with your flatmates and residents of the block that will bond you together and allow you to form long lasting friendships. A really nice thing about halls is that you share a kitchen so you can make meal times really fun by cooking together and eating together. Most people in oak house end up living with their flatmates of blockmates in years two and three, as I am. The second is to realise that everyone feels exactly the same things as you. The only downfall of majority of the rooms is that the window is NOT double-glazed (with the exception of a few random ones) so during winter the rooms can get quite cold - but nothing a hot water bottle doesn't fix.
